Natural-Gas Powered Honda Civic

You may have heard of Honda's natural-gas-powered Civic Sedan. They've sold approximately 1,500 of them each year, primarily to governmental fleets, and some to individuals in four states. If you haven't heard of it? you're about to.

Starting this year, Honda will be bringing its natural-gas Civic GX nationwide. Soon, travelers and commuters in all 50 states will see this gas-powered phenomenon cruising down the road.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) is renowned within the car industry as being sticklers for safety. Last year, the IIHS upped the criteria for TOP SAFETY PICKs by adding a roof-strength assessment to test the protection of a rollover crash.
