Honda Fit EV Gets Google Help

Honda unveiled their Fit EV concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show last week. Along with the EV, the Japanese auto maker is working along side Google to turn the prototype into a mass produced car.

Managed by Enterprise, Google's "GFleet" is a car-share program including hybrids and plug-in hybrids, available to 2600 Google employees. The program is expanding to include electric vehicles launching later this year. The Fit is the first -  Honda is?

Honda Developing New NSX

The NSX was a pivotal sportscar from the 1990's. Featured in racing video games and even hit films like Pulp Fiction, the NSX was to be a crowning achievement in Honda and luxury model Acura design / performance. Overseas, NSX was a Honda - in North America it was introduced as part of the company's Acura brand.

2012 Honda Civic Hybrid

Honda is now putting the finishing touches on the 2012 Civic Hybrid. The Japanese automaker is remaking its entire Civic lineup, but prioritizing the hybrid model. They are betting so much on the hybrid, that it looks to be going on sale in late 2011, even before the standard version is released.

Honda Electric Car Unveiled

Honda will unveil its top secret electric vehicle concept at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show, alongside a plug-in hybrid that showcases "the next-generation of Honda hybrid technology." Keynote presenters at the press conference will be Takanobu Ito, Honda Motor Co. Ltd. President and CEO, and John Mendel, American Honda Motor Co executive vice president.
